We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Barn. the quiet location and warm welcome from Beryl made us feel right at home. the delicious homemade cake and thoughtful touches like milk, teabags, and sugar were a nice surprise. the proximity to Church Stretton and the local pub in Marshbrook was convenient. We also appreciated the abundance of walking trails in the area, although we didn't get to explore as much as we would have liked due to the weather.
The Barn at Pillocks Green felt like home, and we have no complaints whatsoever.

The room I stayed in was super comfortable, with a spacious bed that was perfect for crashing after a long day of hiking. I'll be honest, the only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the fact that there was only one bathroom with a shower. It wasn't a big deal for me since I was traveling alone, but if you're staying with a group, it might take some coordination.
